Description

This simple guacamole recipe is super quick and easy to make, as a dip for your favorite corn chips or to top anything from tomatillo enchiladas to fish tacos.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe avocados, cut in half and seeded
  • Juice of 1 lime (about 1 tablespoon)
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 jalopeño, seeded and minced
  • 1 ripe tomato, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cut avocados into 1/2 inch pieces in the skin, then scoop the flesh into a medium bowl; mash roughly with a fork.
  2. Add lime juice, fish sauce, garlic powder and salt; mash to desired consistency.
  3. Stir in jalopeño, tomato, onion and cilantro.
