Description

The best way to use up Thanksgiving leftovers, these turkey sliders are a family favorite.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 12-pack of King’s Hawaiian rolls
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded turkey
  • 8 ounces Brie or Havarti cheese, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF (177ºC).
  2. Slice the whole pack of rolls in half horizontally (don’t pull them apart), so you have a top sheet and a bottom sheet. Spread ½ cup cranberry sauce on the top layer and ¼ cup Dijon mustard on the bottom layer.
  3. Distribute the 1 ½ cups of shredded turkey evenly over the mustard.
  4. Add a layer of 8 ounces of sliced cheese, then place the top rolls back on.
  5. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in the microwave for 30-ish seconds, stir in 2 teaspoons of brown sugar until it’s mostly dissolved, and brush it over the tops. Pour any remaining butter over the top of the rolls.
  6. Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melty and tops are golden.
  7. Slice along the roll lines and serve warm.
